"Media for the masses, not the mainstream."

There are many truths and alternate visions of reality buried restlessly under the façade of conventional reality. Unlike those studio-owned film production companies, Brickyard Hill Productions & Frustrated Monkey Films, Ltd. has made it our mission to reveal these to you.

You have opened the doorway to a progressive and weird exploration of cinema, art, music & storytelling - with the sole purpose of the free and unfettered expression of ideas, using whatever media the muses inspire us to use. It is a trip into a cinematic underworld, and if you aren't thinking differently after the journey, then we have not done our job.

To create films and entertainment that promote diversity. To support and produce material created by filmmakers, artists and musicians who are overlooked and rejected because they do not promote the status quo. To bring a public awareness to and advocate for those dispossessed and disabled artists which other production companies and the mainstream film industry flat out ignore.

BYH + FMF is a factory for the free expression of ideas not propaganda. We hope you enjoy what we have to offer.

We have shot the trailer for "ART IMITATING LIFE." Both the short 2 min. version and the longer 3.40 mins. version of the trailer are uploaded on our new Brickyard Hill Channel on YouTube. The longer trailer has music, which we acquired through CreativeCommons.org, for non-commercial distribution only. Please click on the following link to watch them, rate them and share your comments on them. We love feedback!

Also, we are more than proud to annouce that Erkki Niinimäki, the producer of the KynnysKINO6 Film Festival in Helsinki, Finland which is dedicated to celebrating disability in film, has agreed to premiere the two-minute trailer at this year's festival later in the month.

In an effort to expand the Hill, we are building a MySpace page. The link is on the navigation bar to the left. Please visit us there and become an "Artist on the Hill."
