THE STORY: The city of Wayer is the largest city on Storm-earth. The opposing armies of The Asylum led by the enigmatic Nine Jonahs, and the paramilitary Earthwork rule its streets. The Grimalkin, the criminal overlord of the Underhall, rules the underworld. While the three-way war rages on, malefactors, people gifted with unique powers seen as a threat to and hunted by the armies of The Asylum and Earthwork, fight to stay alive. But the tide of the war is about to turn. A rebel group of malefactors called The Dans have located a malefactor whose gift might be the key to freedom from The Asylum, Earthwork and The Underhall. This malefactor is named Harness and Harness' power is to channel the energy of the Ethernet - the web of energy surrounding Storm-earth that appeared around Storm-earth some two hundred years earlier creating the malefactor phenomenon. The Dans have enlisted the help of a renegade spellbreaker, the soldiers of The Asylum, named Luck Vector, himself a malefactor, to locate Harness and bring him to the Dans so that they can get him off-world to their sanctuary. The only ally Vector has is a former member of the Underhall, Yellow Cat. But the Jonahs and the paramilitary leaders of Earthwork are themselves looking for Harness, and they unleash all their armies against Vector and Yellow Cat. Using all their skills and powers, Vector and Yellow Cat battle The Asylum and Earthwork to protect Harness and his twin sister Jinx - but as they are about to get Harness and Jinx to safety, Earthwork unleashes their secret weapon - a seemingly invincible cyborg called the Ether-knight. For Vector and Yellow Cat it's a race against time, all the forces of The Asylum, Earthwork and The Underhall, for Vector and Yellow Cat to get Harness and Jinx to the Dans all of Wayer; because if they fail, the city of Wayer, the malefactors and all of Storm-earth will fall under the dominion of the war.Screenplay by Matthew Van Vlack.
