THE STORY:

A writer uses a meditative technique called mind bending to confront his own personal betrayal by a father who rejects his own personal genius, leaving his talented son unable to accept his personal power for truth-telling through literature.

Battling the projections of his friends and enemies in the landscape of his own imagination, the writer becomes lost in his own exorcism of personal demons and painful confrontations with the self-awareness that comes with sincere artistic expression - until, at last, his own projections turn on him in a violent exchange.

This is the story of "Mind Bending." An existential rumination on the passing of the counterculture generation, and an exploring of the self-awareness of physical pain as it collides with the zeitgeist of a generation who have been betrayed by the 60's generation that gave birth to them.
