We are dedicated to entertaining audiences, and I mean genuinely entertain audiences, without insulting their intelligence. Unlike the powers-that-be in Hollywood, we do not believe that audiences are stupid. Instead, we believe audiences are smart, clever and discerning. They want to be challenged as well as entertained when they go see a film.

Unlike other independent production companies, BYH + FMF presently owns more than twenty original screenplays, or "Projects," which, with financing, we can produce and release as completed projects at a minimum rate of two a year. A feat never achieved by any other indie company, when first starting out! A feat that will keep us as a stand-alone, truly independent company longer than any other recent indie film company.

We can achieve this goal because our films are designed to be low-cost while remaining high concept with fully realized characters and thought-provoking stories. The limitless ideas produced by our collective of artists are not bound by material conventions. Instead, our filmmakers seek to create material that is accessible to our audiences as well as affordable to our financiers!

Our Projects are designed to generate enough income to cover the initial cost of production and marketing, and, upon release, far exceed standards of profitability for similar independent releases. Through franchises, which we call "Platforms," each subsequent film will feed off of the success of the previous film released. But unlike studio franchise films, each film is designed to be a stand-alone project. Each successive release will build upon the overall Platform themes, increasing the marketing viability of the preceding and subsequent projects.

Our Platforms are unique from the standard studio franchises in that they are created in response to public awareness and social issues. Our Platforms and Projects are designed to reflect, if not be, the very world in which we live. Our Platforms will possess enough elements of fiction to be entertaining and provoke audiences' imaginations. Through the mediums of drama, comedy and adventure we will enlighten as well as entertain. Unlike the studio franchises our Platforms are not bound by overused and outdated clichés.

BYH + FMF is an organic factory for ideas born from the unrestricted imaginations of our artists. By not interferring in the artistic process, the filmmaker can create Projects through unconventional styles and subject matters. By responding to the evolution of pop culture and human culture, our films will engage audiences, provoke their minds, create controversy through the presentation of alternate views on life, humanity and reality. As a result, we can ensure longevity of product through a balanced mixture of high and low brow entertainment. Such a unique and broad variety of storytelling techniques will allow for multiple marketing avenues for the Projects and Platforms.

With the common human experience, extraordinary human endeavors, mythic stories and shared metaphors occurring in all cultures as the basis for our works and as guidelines for our in-house and outside artists, BYH + FMF will evolve and respond to the desires of moving-going audiences.
